ODD SEMESTER

Technical Talk

·        On 30^th September, 2011 CENSA organized a technical talk on cloud computing which was delivered by Mr. Rajesh Nambiar, senior program manager at EMC2, Bangalore for the students of computer science and information science of 5^th semester and students of MCA of 3^rd semester.

Campus Recruitment Drive

·        On 9^th October, 2011 CENSA organized campus recruitment drive by OxiTechnologies which was brought to us by Mr. Vivek RP, the founder and CEO of the company.

CENSA Inaugural Function/Fresher’s Day

·        On 10^th October, 2011 i.e., today, we are organizing inaugural function of the computer engineering student association, CENSA followed by fresher’s welcome function, incense.h

Inauguration of IBM CoE Laboratory

·        On 12^th October, 2011 CENSA has planned to   inaugurate IBM centre of excellence laboratory at KVGCE campus.

Indoor Games

·        CENSA has planned to conduct various indoor games for all CS and IS students commencing from 27^th October to 29^th October of 2011. And the games will be as follows.

Ø      Badminton

·        Mixed doubles

EVEN SEMESTER

A Workshop on Android Application Development

·        On 28^th and 29^th February, 2012 CENSA will be organizing a technical workshop on “Android application development” by professionals which will be open to all branches.

A Workshop on Robotics

·        On 15^th and 16^th march, 2012 CENSA will be organizing a workshop on “Robotics” which will include building and programming the Robots and hence will be open to all branches.

Variety Day

·        On 12^th April, 2012 CENSA will be organizing a variety day program where in students from CS/IS of semesters 4^th, 6^th and 8^th are given an opportunity to perform the cultural events.

N-GAGE IT

·        On 14^th April, 2012 CENSA will be organizing a national level paper presentation, N-GAGE IT.

Farewell

·        On 4^th May, 2012 CENSA has planned to organize a farewell party for the outgoing students of CS/IS of the year 2011 - 12.
